Icy Veins is a better source, but their Barb guides have always been a little off. Most of the guides on Diablofans are several degrees worse-trash that should be avoided. A good guide will cover that, and most streamers, YouTubers, and guide authors don't put that level of thought into their content. And that's the thing: some Barb builds require a very specific play style or gear setup-or both-to be successful.
Scroll through their guides and you'll find endless copy-paste jobs made by folks without any real understanding of the build's nuances. Earlier today, I told someone not to trust Barb build guides found on Diablofans or Icy Veins, and when asked why, I posted a version of what follows.ĭfans has no moderation-anyone can make a "build guide," post it, and mislead countless others.
